SonWii also sends sensor data to the PC so we can control stuff on the PC with the motion of the phone.

Also, the key pressess are sent in a way which is better suited for games, e.g. sending multiple keystrokes (e.g. useful for racing games where UP needs to be pressed with LEFT or RIGHT) - this is not supported in the Sony bluetooth remote.

Finally, the main advantage is that for PC programmers, they are able to deal with the sensor data/keystrokes however they want in their software.</description>
