NirP Software is proud to announce the release of a software that uses the motion sensor of Sony Ericsson mobile phones to send motion data to PCs via bluetooth. The software is titled SonWii.
It is my aim that this software will be used to develop PC games or used to provide control of already existing games.
The java program sends sensor + keystroke data over bluetooth. Because data can be read off an emulated COM port on a PC (supported as standard by most bluetooth drivers), sensor data can now be accessed through most PC platforms/programming languages. Thus, the possibilities for its use are limitless.

For those of you who do not have the original marble madness:
I was browsing online for possible additions and I came across this title. It doesn’t use the SE motion sensor/accelerometer but using some interesting algorithm to decipher camera data for motion needs. The game is called 3D tit-a-world (by GestureTek) - they have quite a few games which use a similar idea.
I have not tested this little gem, but I am sure it will not disappoint.
